I kept looking at it, and thinking about bidding, and thinking about bidding . . . and you know where that goes.

Great purchase.  And from Bill Owens himself.  Congrats.

well there were 4 bidders above me. i was sorely tempted to bang in another bid come the end, but that would have been ~$100, so lance prb would have still won it, and besides, i didnt "really" need it.....

still a great win!

I won a bunch of early Dungeoneers last week:

Vol 1 #1:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=140243068015

Vol 1 #2:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=140243068585

Vol 1 #2:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=140243068754

Vol 1 #3:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=140243068927

Vol 1 #4:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=140243069358

Vol 1 #5:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=140243069652

Vol 1 #5:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=140243069886

Vol 2 #1 issue #7:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=140243067599

I kinda thought there would be a bit more interest in these.  By the looks of them they are later prints but aren't they still hard to find?  Or is there something else that I am missing?  In any case, it fills a hole in my Dungeoneers so I am happy.

Those are damn good prices.  Interest can be had for cheaper with #73 (the compendium).  They are hard to find, but think they don't get much attention on here due to those that have been looking for them either don't announce or already have them.

That is an excpetionally fine win (envy. envy). Last time they came up in Australia, I bid $60 apiece for the first four issues and was outbid on every auction.

I think 'lack of interest' may be due to changes in Ebay's search engine. If I am logged into Ebay Australia, auctions that are 'US only' do not even turn up in my search list. I have checked this by logging into Ebay USA and doing searches and then doing worldwide searches from Ebay Australia. I can't understand why more Ebay Sellers aren't up in arms over this or perhaps Ebay have done it on the sly.
