Well the nice little JG lot of booklets and other stuff was whisked away from under my nose, yet again: Crying or Very sad

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190198174575

I thought there should be a topic for the one that got away ...

Of course, this usually means that someone around here who won has a great chance to gloat   Wink

I lost in another auction, but not knowing the 2nd place bidder, glad the items are in the hands of David another Judges Guild caretaker Smile

There used to be a pretty active topic that was called just that, but I'm not seeing it right now ...

... ah, there it is! Buried four pages back and unused since September. Sort of weird for a topic with 22 pages, I'd think; some sort of weird messageboards physics, maybe.

My apologies to everyone who wanted this lot; I thought it sounded like an interesting variety pack with the potential for having a few interesting JG items among the "loose pages". If it does yield anything interesting, I'll report back on it.

Hell with it; I'm going to bump that thread. It used to be pretty popular at one point ... if it drifts back to the fourth page again, I'll leave it alone.  Smile

Yes look forward to hearing about the lot. If you don't want that old JG catalog let me know  Wink

About gloating, I was honestly surprised when I won the first print Character Codex off deadlord for just $20.50. I had put in a much higher bid than that.

Well obviously I did overbid on it and still lost.  Probably had something to do with the exchange rate mixup in my head when I put in the bid.  Embarassed

It seems to me there have been a bunch of very collectable items coming up for sale.  I have been bidding on items right and left.

Not be morbid, but I wonder if it has someting to do with the news regarding Bob Bledsaw.  Perhaps sellers feel like the attention that unfortunate news has drawn will generate higher prices.

Well I knew Bill Owen was going to sell personal items, was to have been last summer actually, but I do think them popping up now has something to do with it.  Haven't talked to him personally about it because just don't feel comfortable asking that now.

Is interesting though the items he's sold already.

Dark Tower and Tegel, can you not catch a break..or are you cursed? Wink

Probably the two greatest (imo) items from Judges Guild to command a good steady value both financially and with content.

Obviously I have undervalued both items.  But if I bid higher I run the risk of someone placing me in the list of "Idiot Bidders".  Wink

But I need not worry about Tegel Manor anymore.  I already have the Gamescience version (offered to me my an esteemed member of this forum) and I have already made arrangements with another forum member to acquire a JG Tegel shortly.  Good things do come to those who wait....and complain, bitch, and moan.  Very Happy
