That's why they have that silly delay now...someone might get offended by an errant boob or F bomb.

Freeney's looking good though for having a screwed up ankle...still taking two lineman to hold him off.

EDIT:
1 for Freeney, let's see if he can keep up the pace.

Saints pulled out of what looked like a nosedive... I think if the Colts score on the next possession they win. If no they lose.

No matter who wins, both teams are pulling some great plays off.  I'd rather watch the back and forth then a blow out game any day.

Ah, what could have been.  Colts D came through.  Offense put them is some bad positions - missed FG.  Give the Saints Coach the MVP award.

I'll still take Peyton; we will be back, often.

Congrats to the Saints and their fans.  I hate losing but I think the NFL got what they wanted.  Just how good will the Colts be next season when the rookie receivers are no longer rookies?

I'll just have to get used to the empty space on my wall.  Nice win Tharizdun.

I'm not a fan of either team honestly. I think the best 2 teams weren't even in the game. Saints made me good money though! My GF woulda been beyond pissed with another outcome...

Those maps are really sweet Martin Wink I'll let the sting wear away before I post the one you would have gotten. Dennis only had 9 left from all those years! The rest being lost in moves apparently. It would have been a really rare and beautiful item.

I look forward to next season already!

while I don't follow it (well I used to many years ago, belive it or not).. Worst story from the superbowl... My bosses friend was going to the superbowl, a friend of his won some sort of competition and the prize were corporate box seats all expenses paid to the super bowl... but.. aparently the guy who won couldn't get a visa to the USA due to a drug conviction (he aparently took the fall for his mum, so wasn't due to his own stupidity) so he couldn't go, and since the tickets were non transferable no one could go....

There was a Superbowl game tonight? I was celebrating the greatest RB of all time and the greatest WR of all time getting their unanimous Hall of Fame nods....

Thanks for the great years, Emmitt and Rice!!!

Quote:
Each player's Hall of Fame case is presented to the voters by a panelist from the team with which the candidate spent the bulk of his career. For Smith and Rice, the presentations lasted only seconds. Rick Gosselin, of the Dallas Morning News, essentially mentioned that Smith was the league's all-time leading rusher, and jokingly asked if there were any questions. There were none. Nancy Gay, of AOL Sports/Fanhouse and a former 49ers beat reporter, simply said, "Jerry Rice." We didn't need to hear any more than that.

Of course, what would an induction vote be without another undeserved HOF spot going to an East coast player just because he played for a marque east coast team.

Quote:
The conversation about Grimm centered on the fact that it was a travesty that no member of the Washington Redskins' famed "Hogs" offensive line was in the Hall of Fame. It was pointed out that, through the Redskins' three Super Bowl victories, there were changes at quarterback and running back, but the one constant was the line. And testimonial after testimonial said that if one player from that group should be in Canton, Grimm was the man.

If this is the criteria, I am eager to know which Dallas Cowboys 90's offensive lineman will eventually go into the hall, as many people deflect Emmitt's talent by saying it was the offensive line he ran behind.  If the Hogs line gets one in, then the greatest offensive line in history should get 2-3 nominations. If the same criteria is used (three superbowls), then I expect Nate Newton, Mark Tuinei, and/or Erik Williams to be voted in pretty soon.

Emmitt wasn't even in the top 3 all time. Barry S, Jim B, Walter P... then we get into Emmitt territory.
You just said as much... he got lucky and had a great line with HOF QB and Receiver + a great tight end.

Thrilled the Saints won.  I've only owned two professional sports jerseys:  The Chicago White Sox and the Saints.  Now I have to find two new cursed teams.

Mike, the greatest RB of all time?  No, Brown,, Sweetness, Sanders, OJ, Dickerson, Campbell....  I would put Emmit in the four or five slot.

Rice, no argument, the greatest Wr of all time.

Great day for the Saints.

All the best,

Paul
