What is more newsworthy and puzzling than the early demise of Gleemax is....

Why did WOTC personnel think Gleemax was going to be anything but a horrid failure in the first place?

The idea was too incredibly stupid to begin with.

Mind boggling in the Zen-like purity of its incredibly obvious failure-o-city.

So pie-in-the-face a loser idea as to make New Coke look like the Beattles.

Gleemax was so painfully, awfully, dreadfully, beyond any hope of success that one wonders about the overall sanity in Renton.

There just aren't enough scornful words to use to describe how obviously bad the whole idea was.  Mad

When we attended Gencon last year and Gleemax was announced, it was amazing how little buzz there was and how no one cared.  I remember the day it was announced, I had to find out later on this forum because despite spending all day at the Con nothing had been mentioned. Truly one of the more bone-headed moves of recent gaming history.

So I clicked on the links (under the games button) on the gleemax page to go to D&D Insider and Magic Online and got .....
