Placing thick black-plastic trash bags over the windshield can help with frost and ice if no water gets between the plastic bag and the windshield. |

Ummm...yeah right. With the freezing rain we had in North Texas last night I can guarantee that trash bags would not have helped. I had to scrape about a half inch of ice off of my windshield this morning but the worst part was the fact that the drivers side door was encased in ice and I wasnt able to open it because the handle was frozen solid. Had to get in on the passengers side and open it from the inside. |

when you have high wind the only thing that would work along those lines would be a full car cover.
I have never tried one but I imagine the cycle of freezing and thawing would not make them last very long. |

Had to jump off the chat early last night. Friday nights at the Barsh house can be extremely busy with sleep overs and sports. See you next week fellas (and lady). |

Not sure if old bbarsh will be in tonight. I - or I should say my oldest daughter - has the basketball team coming over for a party tonight.
Yep, 12-15 13-year-old girls. Thank god we have a finished basement.
Still, I might be taking the younger two barsh kids out for the night... |

Teach 'em to play D&D. 15 people is almost enough for a small tourney. |

That would be awesome. I could put on a pair of thick glasses, put on a dorky hat and walk into their midst carrying my PHB.
"Anyone want to play D&D"
My daughter is always complaining that me and her mom are embarrassing her, anyway... |

Damn it! Thought I finally grew some facial hair (while singing "now that we're men" from the Spongebob Movie). |

For the chat, that pretty much is on-topic. For those that haven't yet attended LemurChat, this is just a sample of what you're missing out on. |

Yes, often D&D talk devolves into B&B talk (Boobs and Babes....especially when LucyJoyce is on!!!! )

Man, I miss the chat a couple of weeks and the rumors begin. Will have to come back to defend myself.
That avatar reminds me of nothing so much as a lava lamp. Don't know why.
Have had some sad times in my family the past few weeks, but all is settling down and the good times will roll again. Hope to see ya'll Friday night. |
