I can't get interested in the Ravenloft materials et al.

My players are not afraid of vampires...or werewolves, Frankenstein's Monster, Abbot and Costello, mummies, the Three Stooges or any of the undead/movie monster category...other than Godzilla.

I thought that Ravenloft was a decent module...I needed to soup it up a bit in order to challenge my players...but a decent module.

It could have been improved by a two-dimensional map of the castle, rather than the 3D Escher drawing actually included.

A large of number of the Von Richten guides and other Ravenloft materials have been sitting on the shelf at the Tacoma, Washington Half-Price Books for months now...unwanted and unloved.

Two idiots just made for each other:

The bitter asshat who added the pathetic "credit the Acaeum" speech to all of his listings ...

(discussed here)

... currently has as a high bidder the guy who negged me after he decided that he'd tell me exactly how and when I'd be selling my items to him.

(discussed here)

And the item up for sale is Dragon #1, so it's not like it's just going to slip under the radar.

(Item that neither one of them deserves)

Ah, I love a nice train-wreck ... I hope these two clowns get to do some business together. Smile

Xaxaxe, your buddy added us to his "About Me" page!

Wasn't that nice of him?

Confused (ok, so I know he's not your "buddy"...)

Actually, he's blocked me.

It's the first and only time I've ever gotten the blocked message in nearly nine years of eBay-ing. Seriously, I sort of always wondered what the idiots that I had blocked saw when they tried to bid ... now I know.  Smile

Wow. Never could understand why people will block even a good eBayer. Interesting, though, how people's attitudes work....

I reported all of his auctions to Ebay for defamatory comments.  His tone is disingenuous and petty considering the circumstances.

Wow  Shocked

I love this site, but every day when I read the posts, it reminds me to mind my p's and q's while selling RPG materials on eBay...

I'm a pretty easy going guy but arrogance really pisses me off and this guy is full of it.  He starts by using the sites information and claiming it as his own (by not acknowledging the Acaeum).  So now he does acknowledge the source but only to use it as a mockery.  Muppet if I ever saw one.

See that doesn't even bother me.  To be quite honest if I was a neutral third party, that kind of petulent crap would scare me away from an auction listing.  I mean when you read such highlights from the auction such as this:

Quote:
if $9.00 shipping scares you, don't bid.

this:

Quote:
some of the self imposed "police" over there get a bit testy if I don't mention the site

And this:

Quote:
Did I forget to mention http://www.acaeum.com
Just wanted to be sure they didn't feel left out.
I list on ebay to support their website.

I mean I can't for the life of me figure out why anyone would bid on anything he is auctioning, with that 13 year old tantrum that he continues to include in every single one of his auctions.   Seriously, if even assuming that he is 100% correct and he got treated poorly here for absolutely no reason(which he didn't, he is an asshat), but if you are a third party who knows nothing about this guy, wouldn't that petulent ranting that fills half of his auction description scare you away, because how is he/she going to act if "you" have an issue with his auction(no matter what the issue is)?   Likely, you would expect for him to hold is breath until his face turns all red and then start crying and jumping up and down screaming at the top of his lungs.  Who the hell wants to have to potentially deal with that, regardless of what happened here?

Its funny because its a similar reason that I also find Cougar's about me page so laughable, when he says about us:

He says he wants to thank us for driving people to his sales, however he fails to mention who &/or where the people are that aredriving people to his sales are from.  Don't you think that if he really believed that we were good for his business and we were driving people to his sales that he would have went out of his way to list www.acaeum.com on his about me page?  Of course he would, free advertising right?   But since its obvious that he is full of shit, he intentionally leaves the site link out because he knows that we are hurting his sales, not helping them. Its actually quite funny. Very Happy

More humor from the listing above.

The Idiot Seller requires a confirmed PayPal address.

The Idiot Buyer doesn't have one. I know this because it was the genesis of the disagreement that eventually led to us exchanging tactical nuclear strikes.

These two assclowns are made for each other ... Smile

VERY BIG BUYER BEWARE

The guy from Ypsilanti Michigan who stole a bunch of people's money (including Marlith's) back around November is back up in operation again. I would strongly suggest avoiding this seller like the plague. This guy seems to be the newest albiet different version of jonb. This one just happens to reside in Michigan and not Virgina and could care less about auction descrition.

BTW, not to change the subject, but avoid this seller at all costs:

http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZypsisalesQQhtZ-1

This is the same guy as before, back again for the THIRD time now.   I think everyone should also report him to Ebay as well as he is the Yspilanti, Michigan version of jonb,  he steals people's money.  We need to bring this down before he can steal anyone elses money.  It looks as if he already has some completed auctions, but its not to late.  For more info on this guy from his past incarnations, check here in the locked "Shady Dealer" thread:

I wish I still lived in Ypsilanti. It's a small enough community (wedged up against Ann Arbor, if anyone cares) that it would be reasonable to send this guy an email saying, "hey, I'm a serious collector from Ypsi; can I come over and look at your collection?" At least at that point it would be possible to verify if these items even exist or if this guy just got out of the state pen or whatever. It would also be a chance to name-drop The Acaeum and let him know we're watching ...

Well, I just sent him this through Ebay about 1/2 hour ago:

Wow, is the third time a charm? You've been booted by Ebay twice before for stealing people's money and now you are going for time number three. Nah, I don't think so.

Is that subtle enough for him not to recognize that he's being watched. Wink
