Another great Avalon Hill bookcase game is "Down with the King!"
I acquired it from the family of a good friend who recently passed away, and it's been added to my collectible shelf.
I had actually forgotten about that one. Anybody know what it's worth, just out of curiosity? |

I have a few AH games - the crown being my collectors edition of Tobruk which was limited to distribution at Origins and is signed by the authors and has a special seal on the box.
Mostly, I chase SPI stuff (much more so that AH).
Also, I have been slowly (vey slowly) chased down most "pocket" games from the various companies (metagaming, task force, etc.). Just another side collection... |

Ah, the memories ... those were my very first eBay purchases. I was able to fill in some holes in my Metagaming collection; I eventually owned every release from Ogre through Fire When Ready.
At the same time, thinking of that era makes me sad. Those were the days when eBay was honest-to-God fun ... and, clearly, that is a thing of the past. |

Without a doubt, Xax.
And who knew that Melee and Wizard (or any other Fantasy Trip product) would be pricing out the way they are now. Hell, I picked them up for a few bucks each six or seven years ago. |

Boxed? I never saw it boxed. I have it in an 8 1/2 x 11 folder with artwork. I also have the game Sauron in a similar format. Both from SPI |
