I'm definitely looking forward to it.  And then, of course, we'll have to retro-convert it, which shouldn't be too bad, hopefully....

I have to say after initial misgivings, I really like the Empire of the Ghouls project, and signed up once it became apparant that the ranks were NOT closed as initially indicated. The "insider info" I've gotten as a patron is quite fascinating...sort of like watching a book or movie getting made from the ground up...

I would advise any aspiring RPG material writers to subsribe to the current project...quite interesting!

BTW, I got my patron copy of "Empire of the Ghouls" today by following the link to download it by email.  Very nice, over 160 pages, looks really interesting. My only complaints would be the artwork and maps, which were obviously done on the cheap to save money, but I've skipped around a bit reading various encounters, and they are all "Baur Quality".  Very nice!

Hey...D20 collectors and anyone else who wants to cash in:

Paizo is having a sale on hard copies of Green Ronin Publishing D20 books.

Here is the link:

http://paizo.com/store/sale/greenRonin&page=all

There are a lot of books at $2.  Some other good ones are $5, and the most expensive Green Ronin Hardbacks are $10.

At least one book has sold out already, so anyone who is interested get over there now.

Some other items are also on sale...but this particular sale is good only until December 12, 2007.

Get on it!

Crisis in Freeport was not available.  Also, one other was listed as on backorder.

A fair number seem to be on backorder, actually.  (The Egyptian, pirate, and Black Company campaign settings, the Book of the Righteous, Monsters of the Mind, the swords & staves Artifacts of the Ages volume, Denizens of Freeport, and possibly a few more I missed).

Oddly enough, for those backorder ones I did pick up, it was cheaper to tell them to ship them to me as they came in, rather than waiting and shipping everything at once.  Cthulhu bless the USPS and their rates. Very Happy

I'm somewhat curious about the Bleeding Edge scenarios.  I know nothing about them though.

I looked over the Bleeding Edge modules as well.  Unfamiliar with them.

Given the quality of other items from Green Ronin...they seem tempting.

Have taken part in this..and even grabbed the Bleeding Edge modules not knowing much about then either, but thought for only $2 each can't go wrong.

May grab a few more things later on.

Still waiting for my order with Paizo to be processed.

One of the items (Skull and Crossbones) was even removed from my order weeks after I ordered.

Yeah, they got a lot of orders in a small span. Which wiped out the distributor as well as Green Ronin's personal stock. I think mainly it is due to them being  one of the few you could get this deal through as other online stores did not offer this.
I've lost Skull and Crossbones and Crisis in Freeport so far from my order, hope not to loose any more.

Ditto, but I didn't know they could remove orders. *scurries back to check Paizo order history*

I emailed customer service over the weekend. They say the order is shipping soon --- which I presume to mean is within this week.

I told them to ship my order in parts as stuff became available.  (Oddly enough, due to USPS rates this was actually cheaper.  The non-backordered and various backordered books could go parcel rate when split up, but were only capable of going priority when combined.  I may have mentioned this before...  My memory's going, I swear. Very Happy)

The non-backordered stuff arrived today, but I'm still waiting for Book of the Righteous and Hamunaptra (or however it's spelt) to leave pending status. Confused

My Paizo order just arrived today.

I must say...I am impressed with the overall quality of these Green Ronin publications.

Eternal Rome

The Freeport Trilogy

Trojan War

Dezzavold, Fortress of the Drow

Temple Quarter

Thieves Quarter

Corwyl, Village of the Wood Elves

Overall...the writing, layout, artwork, physical presence, scope, subject matter, useability....overall I am quite impressed.

I have no idea how Green Ronin expected to sell these medium-sized perfect bound books for full-sized hardback prices...but I am dang glad to get them for $2 each.

I'm kicking myself for not ordering those two, as I could always do with a few pre-made city areas/NPCs to mine for ideas when things go where I'm not expecting them.

Apparently my second order shipped out the other day (Bleeding Edge adventures 1-4), but I'm still waiting on the two back-ordered books from the first order. Sad

Just wanted to say again how impressed I am by these Green Ronin publications.

Aside from a certain New Age feel to the woodelves, these publications are really top quality...with the Trojan War and Roman books needed just a bit better art (someone with some knowledge of period armor and clothing, for instance).
