Well I just got one of my most wanted.  Dwarven Glory 1st print

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=280237892092&s sPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=018

It was from our Freinds at Toad & Troll.  Unbelievable price I might add Smile

He also included an Official Fonarow Collection certificate of Authenticty, apparently a famous collection I nver heard of Confused

Considering the last DG 1st went for $1500+(IRRC)  I got a kick ass deal Cool

It is in perfect condition Very Happy

Well, I for one am glad you got it and it was in superb condition.  Frankly I think buying from T&T is a crapshoot based on what I have heard.  Maybe not as bad as some other resellers but bad enough I would rather look elsewhere.

Never heard of Ken Fonarow?  Besides his collection that he sold to T&T recently, I am pretty sure that he had been running the Gen Con auctions for awhile up until last year when T&T took over.  I have bought several things from him off Ebay over the years.  He went by the handle weekendwarrior and obviously http://www.weekendwarrior.com is his website.  Real nice guy.

Damnit, I'd trade some of my wife's looks for just one phone call like this:

"Honey, I'm at the used book store. Is a ... first-edition ... Robert E. Howard any good? The price tag says $2."[/i]

Other than T&T's pricing I've never had any problems with them. I've bought a number of their much less expensive items and always found the condition exactly as described.

It was a steal, I even paid for overnight shipping just to make sure it was real.   Smile

Question is now what Question   It was one of the last items I needed.  It may be years before I pick up a first chainmail or incredibly rare Doomsday book Confused

You'd do quite a bit of damage to your hand if you used it.

Bah...if I didnt know any better, I'd say Canadian beer is made with bear piss.  Which means it is slightly better than American beer, which is made with horse piss.  puker

The only people on the planet that make better beer than the Germans are the Belgians....in my not-so-humble opinion.  Twisted Evil   The Canadians make a pretty decent whiskey though.  Wink   And bacon....cant forget that.  Very Happy

I'm not certain how rare and/or collectible this Warlocks and Warriors boardgame is... but it sure looks like a  'fun find' to me.  I have 4- and 6- year-old gamers-to-be that I 'm looking forward to playing this one with  Smile

Any other introduction-to-rpgs/fantasy games you've played with youngsters?
