Been trying to get one of these the last 4 that were up....finally decided to stop bidding for a few and see...this one sold for roughly 10-20 less than the last one I bid on. Hopefully I'll get one at a decent price and yes I consider $38USD a good price.

There are several Tekumel items in that lot that I would like to have.

Oh, you never know - some people (including me) will be put off by the rusty staples (in the questions). There is also an interesting question about the missing Shadows book. If it is just a standard first print Shadows of Yog-sothoth book - you can pick those up on ebay fairly regularly.

Seller has told me that nothing has been removed from the box since purchase. Is there anything else this could be other than a 2009-DX?

Definitely looks like a 2009-DX. My understanding is that that set had a copy of the campaign book, Shadows of Yog-Sothoth included. Either he removed it and, 16 years later, has just forgotten. Or, Chaosium forgot to include a copy in the box set. Both are likely. I don't know if the Shadows of Yog-Sothoth which should be there was a special/signed version - if not I suppose you could pick up a first print to complete your set.
