Been trying to get one of these the last 4 that were up....finally decided to stop bidding for a few and see...this one sold for roughly 10-20 less than the last one I bid on. Hopefully I'll get one at a decent price and yes I consider $38USD a good price. |

Damn. There goes my chance of winning that.

I've been watching that lot for a couple of days too - haven't heard back yet either (but I have an alternate UK address just in case). |

Oh, you never know - some people (including me) will be put off by the rusty staples (in the questions). There is also an interesting question about the missing Shadows book. If it is just a standard first print Shadows of Yog-sothoth book - you can pick those up on ebay fairly regularly. |

The seller answered to me and accept to ship to France. I think he will ship to US as well. |

Seller has told me that nothing has been removed from the box since purchase. Is there anything else this could be other than a 2009-DX? |

Definitely looks like a 2009-DX. My understanding is that that set had a copy of the campaign book, Shadows of Yog-Sothoth included. Either he removed it and, 16 years later, has just forgotten. Or, Chaosium forgot to include a copy in the box set. Both are likely. I don't know if the Shadows of Yog-Sothoth which should be there was a special/signed version - if not I suppose you could pick up a first print to complete your set. |
