Here is an interesting example (two sales of the Dwarven Glory) on how condition influences the price of rare items:

Even though I believe Burntwire made the better deal.

Opinions?

He got a great deal. It cost me far less than that though!

I think condition here is irrelevant. You're talking about 2 different printings.

Of course you're right. Well, that should teach me to look up the Acaeum index before posting such nonsense...

Thanks for the info.

No problem. For in-depth opinions, I accept cash, checks, credit cards and non-TSR D&D items.

Hey Burnt When you read this,

Good job on that one, I bid in at $63, then again tried to go to 67 but it was a bit to late.

Oh well Let me know how it arrives  and PLEASE don't tell me if it is in MINT.  LOL

Definitely not M, just looking at the description and fairly difficult to see picture.  It's got a hole punch and appears to be a little worn on the outside.  The price paid is pretty consistent with the condition, which appears to be a little better than VG.  Looks like it worked out just about right for burntwire & eyeamgawd.
