View next topic View previous topic      The Acaeum Forum Index » Collecting General - Non TSR Author Message Reindeergamez Prolific Collector Joined: 24 Apr 2005 Last Visit: 24 Jul 2008 Posts: 254 Location: Georgia, USA Posted: Fri Aug 19, 2005 3:31 pm My knowledge of miniatures is ZILCH.  I actually don't like the feel of the metal (lead or pewter?) minis in my hands so I've never played with them.  But... lately it seems I keep winding up with them in my posession, either from sets of books bought from ebay, or today, from my local source for used RPG stuff.  I usually just save them up, and sell them in one big haul on ebay with little text and lots of pictures.  I usually get a fine price (and they are freebies to me anyhow) BUT I'd like to at least be able to glance over them and make sure there's nothing spectacular sitting there undiscovered by me.  Any suggestions for a site that would teach me the basics to not selling a "gem" as part of a box lot, or any tips you could share?  =) mandalaymoon Verbose Collector Joined: 01 Jan 2003 Last Visit: 04 Sep 2008 Posts: 1193 Posted: Sat Aug 20, 2005 7:12 am Best minis site is: http://www.solegends.com Too bad there's no forum like this one there.
