Email reply from the guy with the no-box lot up now:
"I don’t have any of the boxes. I have the CD to the outlands laying around somewhere. I’ll have to see if I can find it 4 U. I’ll have to go to the post office and check shipping 4 U next week. My best guess is less than $75."
.. so um.. all yours guys |

What I notice is a lot of stuff on ebay is labelled as "RARE" or some such. But not a lot of items seem to be getting bids - even with a low starting bid price.
I suspect most of the people who want a set have one. So unless their are new converts the market may stay stagnant. |

Yeah, funny how everything on ebay is RARE!, isn't it? It's a term that gets flung around on eBay as freqently as "Special Edition DVD!" does for movie releases nowadays. I just have to have my copy of the SUPER RARE Planescape monstrous compendium 1! :P
Don't worry, though. The market will pick back up again. Give it a few months. It's usually slow around this time.
On the same note as the RARE discussion, this auction below made me shake my head. First of all, it's one of those that's listed in bold with a big attention-grabbing border around it so that it sticks out! However, it has no maps, no box, and the picture in the auction is not the picture of the actual item! An incomplete, boxless PS campaign setting at a mere $15. P Man. Don't all bid at once.

Seen it too. Much simpler just overbidding him when he's buying in the States. He gets all the lazy collecters, just stopping by him to get stuff (especially Planescape stuff) at top-end market prices |

I can't judge him too harshly for ditching the boxes. If you are a "player" and dont worry about the value of them down the road the boxes make them alot rougher to move and store. Way back when I trashed all the boxes from my games. Spent a fair penny paying for that now that I want copies that even border on respectable.
Now selling my run of Dungeons from 1 to about 70 for much less than a buck each so I would not have to haul them around as I moved....that was stupid |

Yes, me too *hint,hint*
Too bad Planescape doesn't have THAT much extra's on the side. Watching some of you pay handsome amounts of money for fanzines and rare modules I've never even heard of before (which apparently EVERYBODY has on their 'want'-list) makes me feel my 'wants'-list is really short and limited.
My want list:
*PLANESCAPE SKETCHBOOK (and judging by frequency appearing, much more rare than a mint 1st edition woodgrain and mint ST1 combined )
*Some other stuff best not mentioned near 1st edition lovers *hides behind graysonac* |
