Seller has the 1978 newspaper format catalog as well as three of the early journals including no. 3.  Only two hours to go. Would have bid only the shipping to Australia is prohibitive:

Just wondering why no one (well maybe someone has) started some type of mailing service to the other members overseas. This includes the UK to the US and vice versa (among other locations).

After sending that one module to the UK and paying $24USD for it, I know they are charging somewhat normal prices for USPS Global Priority Mail. I don't know how well normal mail delivery is from the US to the UK. If one of you want it, I would be willing to bid up to your max on it, but then send it however you want it over there. Unfortunately, I know anything less than Global Priority from the US Post Office is not guaranteed delivery (which is why I used it).

Anyone already doing something like this on here?

I picked up #6 if anyone wants it. I think my cost is $8.95 my system froze up on me when I tried to go for the catalog.

Oops! Didn't know there were rules about what & where. Sorry guys. Maybe it has to do with my being an old guy.

(I have sold a lot of stuff--not just JG--to overseas bidders. I assumed it was because with the weak dollar that people with Euros, Pounds etc. saw the prices as more acceptable... and postage costs more commensurately acceptable too.)

Several of us have performed shipping services for our Acaeum friends overseas.  Generally all they have to do is post the request...

GreyM: yeah a batch of us regularly send stuff via each other to US/UK and vice versa. i often send over to the US from here for my friends there.

its not that, thats the problem though, its a ridiculous price what for the item is. it could easily be sent for less, yet the seller doesnt bother to weigh up the options and check - and hence, loses out on some decent bids in the process. i know i can get others to bid for me, which is very kind of them, but you should be able to do this yourself.

but anyway, not to worry.

i usually have both first class andpriority and have ebay calculate it but if it's over by more than a bit i refund and if i'm short just absorb it

is there something i'm not doing right?

Bill,

I don't think we're talking about you....we're talking about the two listings from above from the seller aardvark-abc . If I remember some of your auctions, I think even some of our overseas members bid on them but I can't swear to it.

pegasus premier issue:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/__Role-Playing_DUNGEONS-DRAGONS-PEGASUS-PREMIER- ISSUE-JUDGE-GUILD_W0QQitemZ190226891417QQptdnZRoleQ20PlayingQQptdiZ383 9QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item190226891417&_trkparms=72%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C65% 3A12&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

seller also has pegasus 10 up, which is also harder to find than most other issues.
