Any collectors from California?? If so lets all meet up, etc

I'm wondering, are their any collectors in the California region? If so pop in and let me know! I was thinking about finding all of the collectors in California and having a big meetup were we can all get to know each other and even do some crazy trading!! If your from California, pls let me know were! I might be close by!

Hey Len, nope not Seattle for me. I'm in California. During schooltime I'm in Northern California and when I'm not in school I'm in Southern California. Its good for me because I can meet almost anyone in the California area to trade, etc. Its quite too bad Mcduff doesn't know the D&D/Non Tsr collector down by his area as that collector traded 7 wee warriors items to me cheaply as he had more Smile

Is Mcduff and Grodog the only big collectors in California? Come on guys I know there are plenty more. Don't be shy. Hey Allan, aren't there a lot of collectors in the bay area who are part of some club? If we can find enough people, we should all meet up at a location and do one huge trade, sell, etc! It'll be our very own Gencon Laughing

I am in San Jose and would love to host a 'swap meet' of collectors. My house isn't huge but my wife is used to having it invaded by fellow gamers. I have a 'decent' collection and of course, the obligatory footlocker of minis and magic cards. Smile

Plus a fairly respectable collection of 1st Ed Car Wars stuff (I LOVED Old School Car Wars!) and AH games. My Email is public as is my IM and I welcome anyone to hook up with me any time and organize a get together. -Jon

Let's put a stake in the ground and everyone weigh in here with if you think it's a good idea. I'm travelling extensively until mid-April so how about the weekend of: April 19 (Saturday). This may SEEM like a long time from now but it may take time to clear schedules, organize what folks want to trade and such. How does that sound? I'll be happy to host in San Jose but am more than happy to haul my stuff around to someone else's house if they want to hose. Once we finalize the time I'll coordinate the rest via Email.

Tim, are you sure your willing to drive 10+ hrs for this get together we are planning? Most of us those guys are very close to each other and I would be only 3 hrs away. However your 10+ hrs away. You sure you'd be willing to drive that far?

If Easter is the 20th then the 19th is probably 'challenging' for most. How about the week after? April 26th in San Jose? Is the 26th any kind of holiday or inconvenient day?
